KinderSocialStudies encourages young learners to think “outside the box” and prove their thinking through hands-on and engaging learning experiences. KinderSocialStudies is based upon five units: Rules, United States/Community Helpers, Maps, Cultures and Economics. Students begin the study of history-social science with concepts anchored in the experiences they bring to school from their families and communities. They explore the meaning of good citizenship, national symbols, work now and long ago, geography, and life in the past.

This often underrated and overlooked class shouldn’t be missed! The values and foundations we cover are vitally important in helping children gain a greater understanding of the real world.
